Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Techgrains Technologies ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the LipiCore platform and its Insights application (the "Service"). The Service is typically provided to organisations; your organisation controls the business data the Service indexes and analyses, and administers your account.
1. Information We Handle
- Account information - username, display name and the access rights your administrator configures. Passwords are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes.
- Business data - the records your organisation connects to the Service (for example orders, products or customer activity). We process this data on your organisation's behalf and per its instructions.
- Usage information - operational logs (such as sign-ins and errors) kept for security and troubleshooting.
- AI assistant conversations - questions you ask the AI assistant and the answers produced. Queries derived from your questions run against your organisation's data, and question text may be processed by a third-party AI model provider configured for your deployment in order to generate the answer.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above solely to provide, secure, maintain and improve the Service: authenticating users, executing the searches and reports you request, personalising your workspace (such as saved views and favourites) and diagnosing faults. We do not sell personal information.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage for interface preferences (for example, remembering your current AI conversation for the duration of a browser session). It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Sharing
Information is shared only with your organisation (which controls the deployment and its data), with service providers strictly necessary to operate the deployment (such as hosting or a configured AI model provider), or where required by law. Providers are bound to use information only to deliver their service.
5. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including authenticated access, role-based permissions and encrypted credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Retention
Account and business data are retained for as long as your organisation maintains its deployment or as it instructs. Operational logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. AI conversations are short-lived and are not retained beyond the operational needs of the Service.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Because your organisation controls your account and its data, such requests are usually best directed to your administrator; we support organisations in fulfilling them.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the current version is always the one published on this page.
